Ambulances reserved for urgent care

WANGARATTA ambulances will be free to respond to life–threatening Code One cases faster, following a $40m boost to the state's secondary triage services.

The employment of a further 97 paramedics and nurses state–wide to provide guidance and support for less–urgent triple zero calls will see more ambulances freed up to provide rapid critical care for serious ailments among local residents.
