Breaking: COVID exposure sites in Myrtleford

A NUMBER of Tier 2 COVID exposure sites have been identified in Myrtleford.

The Albury Wodonga Health Local Public Health Unit (LPHU) has advised that a positive COVID–19 case was identified in Indigo Shire following testing on Saturday, 25 September.

On Monday afternoon it listed two Tier 2 sites in Myrtleford: Coles Myrtleford, 11.45am to 12.55am and Chemist King, 12noon–1pm, both on September 21.

Anyone who visited either of these sites at the times and dates listed is asked to get tested and isolate until you have your results.

In response, a new testing location in Myrtleford at the Showground‘s will be added with increased testing hours 10am–3pm tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday – no appointment required.

People are asked only to come forward for testing if they have attended an exposure site during the time of exposure, or have cold or flu–like symptoms, or have been directed by the Department of Health to do so.
