REPORTS to police of near misses at new pedestrian crossings in Wangaratta's CBD have prompted calls for motorists to slow down and pay attention.
There are nine new pedestrian crossings, either zebra or wombat (raised) crossings in Wangaratta's CBD which are sign posted, however, some motorists are still yet to notice they need to give way to pedestrians at these locations.
