SOME crown land river frontages licensed by landholders along parts of the Ovens River may be among the first in Victoria made accessible for public camping from next month.
The Victorian Government on Friday confirmed up to 27 sites along the Ovens, Goulburn, Broken, Campaspe, Loddon and Murray Rivers are currently being assessed as possible camping sites, with hundreds more to follow.
