ANY pursuit of a second river crossing for Wangaratta within the next decade could rest on the outcome of a community survey being initiated by Wangaratta–based state MP Tim McCurdy.
The Nationals' member for Ovens Valley has posted a brief survey to all households in the Rural City of Wangaratta to seek their feedback on a second bridge crossing over the Ovens River.
People are being asked if Wangaratta needs a second crossing and why/why not, in addition to what is the biggest issue with one river crossing – congestion, trucks, delays, pedestrian safety?
