WANGARATTA Magpies have snared one of the biggest signings of the off–season on the eve of the start of the Wangaratta and District Cricket Association season.

Gun batter Pranav Menon will join the club after relocating to the area, moving from Melbourne premier cricket club Prahran.

Menon made his first grade premier cricket debut last season, slashing 42 against Northcote.
