Lions looking for coaches

WHOROULY Football Netball Club is seeking expressions of interest for several coaching roles across the field and court ahead of the 2022 Ovens and King season.

The Lions are seeking a coach for the senior and reserves footy teams, as well as netball coaches for the A grade, B grade, and B Reserve squads.

Outgoing football coach Ben Kneebone informed the club of his intention to step away from the coaching role last week, in order to devote more time to his family.

"I'm grateful for all the support, the effort, and the true mateship formed," Kneebone said in a statement to the players.

"It's an exciting time for the club, with real opportunity for anyone interested in stepping into a coaching role."

A grade netball coach Deb Newton said she was stepping down to dedicate more time to travel.
