A TANTALISING layout awaits Rural City of Wangaratta residents, with work almost complete on a new bike pump track on the former Yarrunga Pool site.
The $400,000 development at Mitchell Avenue Reserve is designed to challenge the most experienced riders, while supporting beginner and intermediate riders to learn from each other in a safe space.
“We’re really pleased and proud of that project, and I think it’s come up better than anyone envisaged,” Rural City of Wangaratta manager infrastructure, planning and delivery, Marcus Goonan, said.
