A NEW exhibition of paintings by resident artist Marie Salinger has opened at Wangaratta's Art Gallery on Ovens.
Inspired by Lúnasa, a word which refers to a Gaelic festival marking the beginning of the harvest season, Marie said the creative "seeds" for the series of paintings were "germinated" during an artist residency at the Museum of Loss and Renewal in Collemacchia, Italy, last year.
