BACK TO NORMAL

NORTHEAST Health Wangaratta was able to return to normal operations as early as yesterday after the NSW Government eased border restrictions which were impeding more than 80 staff from Albury being able to travel and work at Wangaratta’s public hospital.

The hospital was thrown into chaos last week when it was announced staff living in NSW would have to self isolate for 14 days upon returning if they worked in Wangaratta.

But following a series of meetings, the NSW Government announced changes to the restrictions late Friday night, granting exemptions to all of the NHW staff living in NSW.
