NAIDOC WEEK EVENT: Opening with a smoking ceremony, local traditional owner Kevin Cooper provided an acknowledgement of Country.

The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) welcomed over 300 local community members and organisations to their annual NAIDOC event at Apex Park last Thursday.

Held during NAIDOC Week, this event recognises and celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
