St John’s Respect embracing new cultures

EMBRACING DIVERSITY: Elonoa Nailivalia, Annie Brown, Adilaite Namatesere, Eseta Lato, Martina Colaudolu, Salote Seni, Jennifer Naqanui, Mereti, Raitoma, Rosalia Karolina and Adi Ana Siganisucu were excited to start work at St John's Respect for the next four years.

ST JOHN’S Respect has welcomed 11 new personal care assistants (PCA) from Fiji as part of a new initiative.

According to St John’ Respect general manager, Margaret Winter, the new initiative is a part of the Pacific Labour Scheme, which Respect has joined.

The scheme offers opportunities for people from 10 Pacific Island nations to work in Australia for up to four years in rural areas in ind...
