12 new active COVID cases for weekend

AN additional seven new active cases were added today to Wangaratta's ongoing COVID–19 outbreak.

The cases were among 31 (12 Wodonga and 12 Indigo) reported within the Albury Wodonga Health Local Public Health Unit catchment in the 24–hour period to 8pm Saturday.

Wangaratta had recorded five new active cases on Saturday, after having three new cases reported Friday, when Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) said all cases were being cared for at home, with no COVID positive patients in hospital.

NHW is advising anyone who has visited a Tier 1 exposure site, been in close contact with a person who is COVID–19 positive or has symptoms, however mild, should get tested immediately.
