ST Bernard's students and staff were excited when a baby eastern long neck turtle was found in their school grounds last week.
Each year around August and October, baby turtles are found in the school yard. Totem of the local Indigenous people of the Yorta Yorta nation, the turtle is also the focus of learning at the school, as well as an art sculpture in the grounds of its Williams Road campus.
