A GENTLE friend and companion to students and teachers alike, the Carraragarmungee Primary School community is mourning the loss of their therapy dog, Jean, who passed away from cancer on March 10 at the age of six.
Jean was the best friend of teacher Thomas O'Hehir and came into his life as a young puppy, the only pure black girl in a litter of 12 German Shepherds.
