THE Fire Danger Period (FDP) for the Rural City of Wangaratta ended at 1am this morning and for the remainder of the North East region in the municipalities in CFA’s District 12, 13, 23 and 24.
While restrictions are lifting in these areas, the CFA still expects the grassfire risk to remain across the state, so residents are being advised to be alert and prepared.
