Memberships spike on Wangaratta golf courses

THE Wangaratta and Jubilee Golf Clubs have received a massive spike off the back of the governments COVID-19 restrictions.

Both golf courses have seen a huge boost in both the membership and course attendance departments as golf has become one of few leisure activities the public is allowed to enjoy in the strange times society currently endures.

Wangaratta Golf Club (WGC) president Denis Hill said his golf club had selfishly benefited greatly from the current COVID-19 restrictions.
