A search is underway for a light aircraft which departed from Wangaratta and is missing in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales.
An Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) spokesperson said at 4.30pm Tuesday, 15 July, the AMSA was notified by Air Services Australia an aircraft was overdue arriving at Moruya airport on the NSW South Coast.
