Lake Mulwala provides eerie, special scene when drained

LAKE Mulwala started to be drained at the start of May to control the invasive Egeria densa weed and to carry out necessary infrastructure maintenance under and around the bridge, including pylon inspections, as well as retaining wall works and erosion repairs.

The waterweed is exposed to the air and winter frosts for about a month to kill it, with the lake expected to be back to its regular operat...
