BANDS from all around the North East battled it out in an unforgettable musical showdown at the North East Battle of the Bands.
The Grand Final event took place at The Shed in Benalla on Saturday, January 20 where Perth alt-rock band DICE headlined and winners from all different heats across the region performed.
Bands that competed included Jackson Quilty, Filthy Rocks, Madoja, Ella Crathern, Judah Kelleher, Blue Curtain, Samara Bright, Clean Coil, Dylan Cosgriff & The Omens, Maya Humphreys and local acts The Dunners and Mieke Bosland.
The solo winner was Indigo Shire heat winner, Samara Bright and the band winner was Towong Shire Council winner, Dylan Cosgriff & The Omens.
Both bands won a cash prize and Samara was chosen as the overall winner and awarded the opportunity to perform at the Moomba Festival later this year with the support of The Push.
