A LOCAL charged with around 125 offences of alleged theft of a local business has been attributed to a rise in theft related crime in the latest annual crime data release.
According to Crime Statistics Agency data released last week, Wangaratta recorded a 2.9 per cent rise in overall criminal incidents in the 12 months to September 2024 and an increase of 3.8 per cent in recorded offences.
