A Wangaratta man and soon to be father who allegedly choked his mum during an alleged craving for drugs has been released from custody.
The 20-year-old appeared from the custody box at Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court this week and was often emotional as family sat in the body of the court in tears.
He was seeking release after spending a night in custody.
