TWO people have died following a crash on the Murray Valley Highway near Echuca on Sunday afternoon.
Police believe a vehicle left the road and struck a tree near Mount Terrick Road just after 12.30pm, and the vehicle subsequently caught fire.
A 26-year-old Moama woman died at the scene, while an 11-year-old Echuca boy was treated at the scene but later died as a result of his injuries.
