LINKING past history with today's modern vibrant community has been at the heart of an innovative exhibition where 10 residents have been matched with historical people and collections.

An official opening for the 'People of Beechworth' exhibition last Saturday drew a large crowd to see the unique showcase where people have been recorded in history for the future.
