WANGARATTA runner Jack Boulton is one of five finalists for the Sport Albury Wodonga Joss Group Young Achiever of the Year Awards.
It's another honour for Boulton who has made a name for himself on the professional running circuit and in national junior competitions.
Each finalist receives a prize package including a $200 cheque and towel from the Joss Group sponsorship, and the crowned winner receives a cheque for $2000, a trophy and a promotional banner that is displayed for future award nights.
Other finalists include: Campbell Chesser (AFL), Tess Palubiski (Hockey/Athletics), Oliver Davis (Downhill Mountain Biking), Zachary Aldred (Archery).
The Young Achiever of the Year Award Night will be held on Friday, March 4 at the Commercial Club Auditorium and the award night will also recognise and induct 10 new members into the Sport Albury Wodonga Hall of Fame Award (formerly Albury Wodonga Festival of Sport Hall of Fame).
The 10 inductees for the 2022 Sport Albury Wodonga Hall of Fame Award are Jess Foley (Basketball & Football), Joshua Thornton (Lawn Bowls), David McPartland (Cycling), Archie Thompson (Soccer), Greg Griffiths (Cycling), Josh Kennedy (Soccer), Amy Chapman (Soccer), Andrew McDonald (Cricket), Stephen Mowlam (Hockey) and Patrick Murphy (Swimming).
