WANGARATTA has been named one of Australia’s most hospitable towns according to Airbnb.
The rural city was ranked seventh in the top 10, following an upgrade to Airbnb’s platform to include revamped ratings and reviews, adding new features to help guests understand the quality of every listing.
Airbnb properties located in Wangaratta received 91 per cent share of five-star reviews over the past 12 months, making it one of the most hospitable towns in the country.
Other regions with the highest percentage of five-star reviews include: South Burnett, Qld; Huon Valley, Tas; Latrobe, Tas; Macedon Ranges, Vic; Central Coast, Tas; Moorabool, Vic; Alice Springs, NT; Southern Downs, Qld; and Upper Lachlan Shire, NSW.
