MADE IT: Former Galen Catholic College student and 2021 Rural City of Wangaratta Youth Citizen of the Year Lachlan Carboon with the Deakin University ASCEND solar-powered car he and fellow teammates helped race across the outback to Adelaide.

LOCAL Lachlan Carboon was part of the Deakin University team ASCEND which competed in the week-long Bridgestone World Solar Challenge that wound down in Adelaide recently.
