A PERSON has been airlifted to hospital after firefighters extinguished a car fire at the Wangaratta Showgrounds on Tuesday afternoon.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said crews arrived on scene following multiple calls to Triple Zero around 1:22pm.
They found the vehicle "fully engulfed" in flames and worked to extinguish the fire.
