BULL prices might have spiked thanks to high cattle prices but now is not the time to skimp on buying new sires.
Jarobee Angus stud principal Jan Robinson from Beechworth said the consequences of running a lower percentage of bulls or reusing sires that should possibly be culled could be drastic.
