DARCY McNamara was yesterday sentenced to 20 years in jail with a non-parole period of 14 years for his role in the murder of Wangaratta man Nathan Day, which was described as a ‘tragic and grisly end’.
A 30 year old woman who crashed into another vehicle near Wangaratta during 2017 resulting in her former partner being unable to walk or communicate properly, will likely serve time in jail.
A 23 year old Wangaratta man who was pursued by police on two different ocassions for driving and riding dangerously was yesterday sentenced to 12 months imprisonment with a non-parole period of six months.
