A NEW commercial hangar at Wangaratta Aerodrome is up for lease by an aviation related business as part of $739,000 in improvements to the city venue.

The 25x30 metre built hangar, along with the taxi way and refuelling area, received $413,500 from the Commonwealth Government to provide further jobs in the area.

Council has received expressions of interest from businesses to lease the commercial hangar but the volume of EOIs could be down due to COVID-19 restrictions preventing potential applicants from visiting.
