WINERIES in the Upper King Valley are at a loss to understand why they have not been included within the border bubble allowing visitors to travel there from the New South Wales border region.

Pizzini Wines and Dal Zotto Wines are among the many local businesses who have endured one of their most challenging years after last summer’s bushfires, the consequent loss of visitation to their wineries and the effect of smoke on their vineyards.

Then came COVID-19 which has impacted all aspects of their businesses and for months brought visitation to the region to a grinding halt.
