A DRAFT strategy aimed at achieving sustainable low density and rural residential growth over the next 30 years will be presented to councillors at tomorrow evening’s meeting.

The Draft Low Density and Rural Residential Strategy provides for the long-term growth of Wangaratta and surrounding towns, specifically for the purpose of low density and rural lifestyle living.

It proposes rezoning of land in South Wangaratta, Milawa, Oxley and Moyhu, and in the long term at Springhurst.
