Cycling body welcomes shared road sign

CYCLE SAFE: Visual reminders that drivers share the road with cyclists, recently added to Cusack Street, are designed to make commuting safer for all.

IT seems Wangaratta’s reputation as a bike-friendly town just went up a few gears, with the recent placement of ‘shared lane’ markings or ‘sharrows’ on the repurposed Cusack Street, as part of the Railway Precinct Enhancement Project.
