CUSTOMERS wanting to access goods and services on Wangaratta’s Norton Street near the railway station will find it easier, with major works, part of a $6.03 million project, due for completion within days.

Contractors Excell Gray Bruni have been laying the asphalt on road this week which will enable Norton Street to open to the public and the businesses to start experiencing some normality.

Gary Lidgerwood has owned the street’s furniture store for 20 years and has been rolling with the punches of COVID-19 and street works that have limited access to his business and he’s thankful for continued client support during this time.
