FAMILY violence incidents in Wangaratta have sky rocketed by an alarming 25.4 per cent, according to the latest data from the Crime Statistics Agency.

The data for the year ending June 2020, showed incidents rose from 464 in 2019, to 582 this year and continues a concerning trend from earlier figures.

Previous data from the year ending March 2020 also showed a 24 per cent increase in family violence related offences.
