MOMENTUM is building for the King Valley Infrastructure Project, a multi-faceted initiative centred around the upgrade of the Wangaratta-Whitfield Road.

Organisers behind the project, which includes fixing the road, changing its name to the King Valley Road and extending the cycling rail trail to Cheshunt, have been inundated with positive feedback and offers of support.

Chris Hazell and John Bridges have been fielding calls from supporters, which include regular commuters on the road, local business owners and residents who all want to see it done, generated by a story which ran in the Chronicle on February 14.
