According to the Bureau of Meterology, the first half of September should be fairly dry across the North East; however, the outlook to the end of November indicates a wetter than average spring is on the way.

A La Nina alert is active, which typically increases the likelihood of above average rainfall across much of Australia during spring; the six wettest winter-spring periods on record for eastern Australia occurred during La Nina years.
