A MASTERPLAN shaping future development at Wareena Park in Wangaratta’s West End has been adopted unanimously by councillors but not all residents are happy with touted changes.

A transformation will include a range of changes including a new sporting pavilion and community hub, catering for the city’s clubs and community groups.

However, Angela Watson, a local recreational vehicle (RV) owner and member of Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia (CMCA), is “very disappointed” her submission to the masterplan for a visitor information centre to be relocated to the site wasn’t factored in.
