THE installation of a rotunda at the Whitefield Cemetery in the King Valley is getting much closer, with the impressive looking structure currently under construction in the engineer’s shed.The Whitefield Cemetery Trust engaged Global Factory Maintenance in Wodonga to build the attractive memorial, which was designed to provide a place for visitors to congregate if they chose to hold an on-site service, and as a way to pay tribute to the many nationalities and cultures who have contributed to make the King Valley community what it is today.Trust member Marco Martinelli, who has been championing the project, said he was impressed by the sheer size of the structure and the way it has come together.
