RURAL City of Wangaratta voters in all but the North Ward have choices to make, after nominations and the ballot draw for candidates in the 2020 council election were finalised yesterday.

Sitting councillor Harvey Benton will be re-elected for another four year term, without a vote being cast, in the North Ward, as he was the only candidate to stand for the one vacancy.

But the rural city’s other three wards have no shortage of candidates, who’ll be campaigning for your votes to win their respective contests well into October.
