PEOPLE aged 16-35 in North East Victoria passionate about the environment are being invited to an interactive Zoom gathering later this month.

Intrepid Landcare in partnership with the Rural City of Wangaratta and Ovens Landcare Network are bringing their unique approach to youth engagement to the region, facilitating an online engagement series to inspire and empower young people to step up and lead on issues that are important to the local community and themselves.

The focus of the online gathering will be on the management of pest plant and animal species, from feral deer and pigs to blackberries and carp; all of which cause great damage to threatened species, our native environment and farms alike.
