WHEN it rains it pours, especially at Wangaratta’s Spearing and Cusack streets on the western side of the railway line, but flooding problems are about to be fixed.

Councillors have approved the allocation of an additional $123,000 (excl GST) so new drainage can be installed near the North Eastern Hotel (The Northo).

It will bring the contract price to $873,599 (excl GST) and Jarvis Delahey will carry out the works in the coming months.
