TWO people have been hospitalised following a collision on Bowser Road, North Wangaratta on Wednesday afternoon. An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called to the incident around 3:40pm, with two people taken by road to Northeast Health Wangaratta. According to VicTraffic, Parfitt Road and Bowser Road has been closed from the Great Alpine Road to Detour Road as emergency services attended to a “multiple vehicle collision”. A Department of Transport and Planning spokesperson advised motorists in the peak afternoon traffic hour to avoid the area and seek an alternate route via Great Alpine Road or Detour Road. According to VicEmergency the incident occurred near the Burrows Street intersection.
