V/LINE trains are set to return to the Albury line from tomorrow, following investigations into what a V/Line spokesperson labelled a "suspension–related problem".

All trains on the Albury line were sidelined on November 7, with specialist equipment subsequently used to run several test trains along the line at different speeds, while analysis was undertaken of train components and systems.

"We thank passengers for their patience while we worked to return passenger trains to the Albury line as quickly as possible," the spokesperson said.

"We have completed extensive and thorough testing and can now safely return trains to the line while further investigations, analysis and monitoring continues."

Trains will temporarily travel at slower than normal speeds while additional analysis and monitoring is undertaken, with passengers encouraged to allow a further 30 minutes for their journey.
