A1: Wangaratta Hyundai A1 continued on with some good form against sides around them on the ladder to score a decisive win at Lavington on Saturday.
The win puts Wang inside the top four at the halfway mark of the season.
Adrian Pantling, Mark Allan, Gerald Brown and Brian Challman paved the way for the visitors with an all the way 29-17 rink win.
Trevor Selwood, Laurie McDonald, Jan Hermassoo and John Kane came from behind to win 19-16, and Phil Davern, Greg Braden, Gary Fenlon and Norm Bussell also surged late in the game to win 20-16.
Maurie Braden’s rink was unable to make it a clean sweep, going down by seven (18-25).
Final scores: Wangaratta 16 pts 88 shots def Lavington 2 pts 76 shots.

A4: Wangaratta Niko’s Butchery A4 maintained third position on the ladder after a home win over fourth-placed Mansfield on Saturday.
Terry Corrigan, Ric Chivers, John Keen and Tyson Chivers’ 25-19 win proved pivotal in the final result as Gary King, Murray Lawn, Mick Johnstone and Rob Worthington managed to salvage a draw, 19-19.
Tom Morrow, Richie Allan, Michael Howard and Gayle King lost by just a single shot in a high-scoring affair (26-27), while Terry Johnson, Richard Hermassoo, Barb McDonald and Leon Quartermain went down by the same margin in a 17-18 thriller.

Keith Izard, Thelma Stones, Ron McAuliffe and Ryan Mallavey had a narrow win (19-16) over Marty Lane’s rink and Ken Essenhigh, Heather Coyle, Susan Bull and Bobby McCalman drew 20-20 with Terry Hallinan’s rink.
Chris Bell, Steve English, Barry Watt and Lola Clarke lost to Milawa’s Dave Allan, Bill Parr, Colin Reid and Lynn Allan (14-22).
Final scores: Wangaratta 3 pts 53 shots lost to Milawa 11 pts 58 shots.

B2: Wang WinSec B2 leapfrogged Myrtleford to move into the top four with an impressive away win on Saturday.
John Knight, Nev Jones, Lance Jenkin and Ann Keen had a comfortable 24-16 win, while Neil Reid, Norm Baker, Giz Tahin and Deb Savage also won (26-21).
Mick Lennane’s rink went down 19-24.
Final scores: Wang 12 pts 69 shots def Myrtleford 2 pts 61 shots.
