LOCAL artist Leon Pappas will share his work with the public as part of an exhibition being held at the Baddaginnie Hall on Saturday, December 9.

The award-winning artist who has been painting for 55 years has exhibited right across Victoria, but this will be his first exhibition in Baddaginnie, having recently moved into the area.

Leon recently joined the Benalla Broken River Painters and has been helping fellow artists with their artwork.

In this exhibition, Leon will have watercolours, acrylic and oil paintings, including paintings of the local landscape, some which are drawn from the Baddaginnie area.

There will also be wrapping paper and cards printed with Leon's art work on display.

Fellow painters in the Benalla and Baddaginnie area are also welcome to come along and meet Leon, who will be in attendance all day.

The exhibition will run from 10am to 3pm with entry free and a variety of work for sale (cash only).
