GATEWAY Health Wangaratta and Centre Against Violence (CAV) Ovens Murray District will share in more than $460,000 to enhance their family violence prevention programs, and better support those recovering from bushfire-induced trauma.

It was part of a further $1.4 million announced this week by the Bendigo Bank, in partnership with the Victorian Government, raised through the Victorian Bushfire Appeal which has been distributed to five Victorian, community-based charities working to support those affected by this summer’s devastating bushfires in their on-going recovery.

Gateway Health will receive $391,342 and CAV $70,459.
