WANGARATTA Youth Council recently held a Green Thumb DYI workshop at Park Lane Nursery for delighted school students and community members.

The youth council received a grant from the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) to run the workshop.

More than a dozen locals were in attendance, including keen youngsters and teenagers, who learnt how to create a mud bee hotel, as well as how to grow seedlings, take cuttings and plant their own veggies.

All equipment and materials were supplied for the workshops and participants were able to take home everything they made.
