UP to 100 young women from local secondary schools had the chance to meet key people in their chosen industry to learn more about career pathways yesterday morning.

Year 11 students from Wangaratta High School, Galen College, Cathedral College, Benalla College, FCJ College (Benalla), Rutherglen High School, Yarrawonga Secondary College and Beechworth Secondary College attended the Wangaratta Zonta Club’s annual International Women’s Day breakfast.

Zonta president Chris Haddrick said this year there was an uptake of girls interested in art and design.
